Isaiah 40: 11

"He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to
his heart; he gently leads those that have young."

To be continued.....

This is our garden.
Months ago(when Kent departed) I had decide that we would not have one this year.
However when I reported this to the children they were devastated.
"Oh mommy PLEASE, PLEASE, can  we have one!"
I caved, Informing them of the work at hand. They were all so excited to help.
That is until the job was about half done.
"Mommy, I'm tired!" "Mommy I'm hot!"
Did mommy hear their cry.
We kept on working until the job was finished.
Everyone helped plant tomatoes, corn, squash, pumpkins, lettuce and carrots.
It has been a while now and so we have fun little sprouting things popping up everywhere.
Isn't dirt great. I will try and periodically post pictures of the progress. But, seeing as these are already outdated it is doubtful. =}Happy digging!

Off to the Zoo by Eli

A few days ago Mom, Nicky and I braved the zoo with 9 children. It was quite the adventure. We pushed 4 strollers to see the sights. Eli was given camera duty and I thought he got some great shots. No people pics but after all going to the zoo is all about the animals.

This is Zeke. He doesn't know that I am watching. The boy would be content to sit in this pit all day. He gets on average 3 baths a day. Can you tell why?

On May 10th I turned 30. We decided that it would be fun to wait and do a little party when Joe and Darcee arrived for Ali's wedding. What I didn't know was that my sister Nicole had purchased tickets also. She sent me into shock by arriving on my doorstep with her 3 boys. Wow. I then was treated to the most delightful meal at Indochine with almost all of my sisters (we sure are missing you Jackie) and my sweet parents. The party was made complete with a poem. Every member writing and then reading their own stanza.
      It made me reminisce

It made me laugh.

   And it made me cry.
Thank you lovely family for blessing me in this way. Your love for me is overwhelming. Thank you also to the Matsuda girls for watching ALL the kiddos so that we could go out. We are so grateful.

So, Daddy sent another care package from Japan. Amongst the gobs of Japanese candy were these colorful soccer socks for the boys. They were the favorite item by far. The boys even slept in them. However the real comic relief was Joe. Just have a look below.

This 4th born, 4 year old child of mine has unique ways of getting my attention. This outfit that he put together all on his own sure made me chuckle. I thought some of you might enjoy seeing the ensemble. His socks are too big and travelled all the way up his thighs. Hence the look of tights or some sort of leggings. The converse and cap just completed the fashionable fella'. Don't ya' think?

Happy Birthday Zeke

Just a few pics of my big 2 year old. You can see that daddy joined the party on Skype. We had a nice Sunday meal and then a little birthday celebration. It was special. Thanks again to my Mom, Aunt Vee, Aunt Callie and Dad for all the help in making it a fun day.
