Isaiah 40: 11

"He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to
his heart; he gently leads those that have young."

Southern Exposure

Recent travels brought us to places like Dallas.
Here we are playing @ the park across the street from Aunt Bev.
There was a fun mix of longhorns and cowboy quotes.
Complete with a river which the kids had fun floating various items down in race like fashion.

Next stop was cousins and the Fort Worth Science Museum.

Aunt Bev with the kiddos.

Digging for dinosaur bones with cousins Cami, Servio and Isabelle.

On the road to Tennessee in the big rental van.
First time seeing the Mississippi!

A quick stop in Chatty and a departure for Orlando the next morning.
Here we are @ a lovely park near the Moon's house.

At the Saturday Market waiting for the train to pass.
It was LOUD.

Monday we had adventures at the Orlando Wetlands.
SO COOL.

We saw lots of Gators!

That afternoon we were so close that we decided to swing on by Cocoa Beach.
My first time seeing the Atlantic stateside.
I have seen it from Africa(Thanks Uncle Roy and Aunt Bev).

We also had a few down days at the pool.
Mr. Lewin provided a lovely Condo for us to stay at when we weren't @ Joe and Darcee's.

Because of cost we opted for the far cheaper putt-putt golf instead of Disney.
Not nearly as spectacular but we still had fun.

Thursday night we had a good excuse for a party.

Christian's 1st

And Anastasia's 2nd

The next morning Christian was eager to get back home.

So we headed back to Chattanooga.
We spent a fun day seeing Lookout Mountain and Coolidge Park on the Tennessee River.

After breakfast we headed back to Texas.
Spent the night with Cami and Marco. Made it to the airport in plenty of time. We were grateful to be welcomed by Kent's folks who had stayed by to watch over our "farm".
Altogether a bit of a whirlwind but glad we did it.
