his heart; he gently leads those that have young."

A Summer Highlight...Now that it is Fall

So, the only family trip that I remembered to snap photos of is what follows.
We had a lovely time down in Oregon. The weather was spectacular and we saw some amazing things. Highly recommend all.
Most of our time was spent near Bend, OR with a 2 night stay @ LaPine State Park.
This lava butte was a few miles from where we bunked down.(Please pardon Naomi's Butte)

Our cute cabin. $80 bucks a night, complete with bathroom, kitchenette and grill!

Most of our time was spent on the Deschutes River just behind our cabin.

Our last day we spent at Crater Lake. By far one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. One of those treasures you should see before you die.

Wish I had grabbed the camera for Kvale Reunion and Our Dawson/Luedtke Camping Trip on the Columbia. Maybe next time.....

An Installment

A random smattering of pics from the IPad. Just got the blogger app and am trying to figure out how it works. Yes, it has been a while since I last posted. Something about moving and homeschooling and having a baby who doesn't understand the concept of a nap. Good times.

....These are a few of my Favorite Things....

We call it "Dawson's Diner"

~Front Entry~
Kitchen & basement stairs on left
Coat closet/hallway on right

Kiddos found these in the yard.
Can't wait to see what else comes up!

Hallway w/ bookshelf facing basement stairs

We didn't get to move to the country as planned but we still have a mini-farm next door!
Moriah cares for the animals in exchange for chicken & duck eggs. The goat owners have even promised Mo milking lessons. SHE CAN'T WAIT!

My 7 children. SEVEN! Enjoying the beautiful living room.

Front yard w/ Zeke & Flower

The amazing curved windows in the living room

My cute kitchen with my new refrigerator (Thanks to the in-laws)

This little girl distracted me from getting a picture of the Master Bedroom. She was hanging out there on the bed. So sweet.

Dining Room

Gorgeous fireplace. Uncle Jerry confirmed that it is Mahogany.

ALWAYS wanted a Japanese maple. Look. Now I have one.

The PINK bathroom

The school/rec room

Fun, door, peep-hole

Charming light in Master Bedroom

My amazing Laundry/ Sewing/ Play room

While moving furniture in my brother-in-law Christopher was making me laugh with his chain-saw noises and hacking motions. There are a TON of bushes in this yard. We immediately thought the same thing, chainsaw anyone? However, the kids  are having a hoot playing in and on them so we are having second thoughts about ripping them out. (see Grandma's house in the distance...sooo cool)

This home has storage, storage and more storage!

See, look at the fun pathways.

So, that is the house in a nutshell. Sure I will have more pics to come. We officially sign papers today.
God is good!
